Connection test

After connecting the TWV to the Home Assistant, move it to the place where it will work. Сheck that there is a good connection from there. Try both and check LQI:

  • Manually with the handle and TWV will report current valve position to Home Assistant.
  • Remotely sending command from Home Assistant to TWV to Open or Close the valve and TWV will report after position changing finished(about 30 seconds).

TWV Entities:

  • Battery percentage remaining 0-100%.
  • On/Off where On - Open and Off - Closed.
  • The link quality indicator (LQI).

Other Important Information

Support support@uhome.systems

Troubleshooting:

- If TWV starts to “beep” often, every 5-10 minutes, it means that the batteries are depleted and you need to change them.

Also, you can set up a nitifiction that be appears when you have low battary level, more info here

Reboot

- To reboot your TWV you need to remove batteries from it and then install them back again.

Maintenance:

- Battery replacement. If you change batteries in your TWV, you don’t need to re-pair it, TWV will rejoin the Zigbee network after you install new batteries.

- FOTA updates can be started from the Zigbee2MQTT addon. In the addon top menu select OTA and check for updates for TWV, if there is a new firmware version available press "update device firmware".

Depending on your Zigbee network, the FOTA upgrade process can take up to 3 hours, but TWV will be working as usual all that time.
